About Me

Passionate and enthusiastic about the games industry. I'm always looking improve my skills and help develop high quality video games, working with the biggest IPs in the world. Graduating from The University of Salford in 2009 studying BSc. Computer & Video Games, with a specialty focus of Level Design and Documentation.

Early Days - QA (2010-18)

Starting my games industry career at Tt Games as a QA Tester was a great way to get some experience, working on games such as LEGO® Star Wars™ III - The Clone Wars™ and LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game.

Over the years I gained experience in QA working on many more LEGO games at Tt Games. I also worked on many other titles during my time at Sony Liverpool’s FPQA Department, most notably Tearaway by the team at Media Molecule as one of the core functionality testers, heading up creating test cases, managing full game playthroughs during the submission process. I also helped capture gameplay trailer footage which I managed to make a minor cameo in, which was a lot of fun.

I’d eventually earn a full-time permanent position at Tt Games and worked my way up through the ranks in QA, from Tester, to Shift Lead and finally Project Lead/Senior Tester, utilizing my lengthy experience in more of a managerial position to oversee the testing process of the projects I was assigned to.

Today - Design (2018 - Present)

While I very much enjoyed my experience in QA, gaining highly valuable working industry knowledge, I felt it was time to move on and scratch that creative itch I had since my university days.

My goal within the industry was always to become a designer based on my specialty focus during my university studies. I eventually got my opportunity starting out as a Junior Designer on a secondment contract, which very quickly became a full-time permanent position, which I happily accepted.

Now I have over three years of experience as a designer, specializing as a Level Designer and Level Director from early pre-production, right through towards the later stages of development and release, taking in everything I have learned to help me improve for working on more projects in the future.
